If You’re a Senior in Need...

Are you or a loved one finding it difficult to access nutritious food? We understand that challenges like limited income, transportation issues, and the complexities of applying for assistance can be overwhelming. Our community support services are designed with you in mind—from home deliveries and mobile pantries to helping you enroll in SNAP. We’re here to help you maintain your independence and well-being.

We’re here to help! Find food resources in your neighborhood with just a zip code. To get started, visit freshtrak.com

If you are ill, under quarantine or isolation, a person with a disability, just plain busy, or otherwise cannot make it to a pantry or Market yourself, all Mid-Ohio Foodbank partner agencies use a proxy process. You can send a person you know and trust to pick up food for you and deliver it to you. Use Proxy Shopping by completing a letter of Proxy.

Individuals and families with household incomes less than 130% of the Federal Poverty Level are eligible for SNAP (food stamps) benefits. Members of our team help people eligible for SNAP enroll for benefits. Click to earn more about SNAP.

The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) is a federal program that provides eligible seniors with a MONTHLY box of shelf-stable items. Examples of items distributed in the box: cheese, juice, cereal, pasta, peanut butter, and canned goods. Click here to find CSFP boxes in your area.

“There are 66 books in the Bible. I’ve read them all. You know what I’ve learned? What it is to be generous, to be kind, and to be willing to serve. There are people doing that right there. The pantry is the place you go to meet your natural and spiritual needs."

“I have my grandkids, and I want to do my best for them. I have to supplement my food budget. Coming here helps. It really takes a lot off my plate. It helps me to not struggle—to find a way.”

Lisa

“The world has changed tremendously. It’s harder out here for the normal person. Look at the people behind me. This line wasn’t 18 cars long three years ago. We need somebody to care about us.”
